Ashley Cook Exhibition

A new collection of monoscreenprints by Ashley Cook at Gandolfi. Ashley graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a First Class BA Hons in Fine Art in 1986. She taught at GSA until 1995. She has continued her practice throughout as a professional artist winning awards, exhibiting internationally and undertaking several international residencies.

She has been a visiting artist to Malaspina Printmakers Society in Vancouver, The University of Washington in Seattle, The Geysir Hus Museum in Reyjavik, Self Help Graphics in Los Angeles, Museograbado in Zacatecas in Mexico, The Farm Summer Project in the Basque Country and recently she has been living and teaching a range of community arts projects in The Gambia,West Africa.

She has works in the collections of BBC,Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, The Scottish Arts Council, The Scotland Office, Arts in Fife, The Fine Art Society, The Vaasa Museum in Finland and Galeria Otra Vez in LA.

Ashley as been selected as one of the twenty female artists commissioned by Glasgow Women's Library to mark their '20 years of Changing Minds' celebration.
