Domaine Laroche Chablis Tasting in Bar Gandolfi @ 8pm on Thursday 19th February

Domaine Laroche epitomises Chablis. The quality of their wine is impeccable, with all wines carrying the Chablis hallmark of crystalline purity and steely minerality. We are delighted to have the winemaker from Domaine Laroche, Gregory Viennois, host a tasting from his range. Each wine will be matched to a small plate of food designed by our head chef, Joanne, to bring out the best flavours in both wine and food.

The Food
Halibut ceviche tostados with avocado, salmon caviar and mole Verdi
Coconut chicken gyoza on salted melon and pickled ginger salad
Hand dived scallop, baked in the shell with hazelnut and shrimp pesto
Sole goujons with fennel remoulade and charred lemon
Garlic sautéed lobster tail with white bean and celery puree and crispy leeks
Rice pudding ice-cream to finish

For a more intimate tasting and for you to be able to chat with the winemaker, we have decided to hold the tasting in our Bar. Strictly limited to 30 places, book early to avoid disappointment.

Seumas had often dreamt of opening a fish restaurant and in June 2007 that was exactly what he did. The doors of Gandolfi Fish opened to a warm welcome from Glasgow's foodies who were eager to taste the delights from this sleek new arrival to the Merchant City. Gandolfi Fish features as one of Ron Mackenna's top 25 Scottish restaurants (The Herald) and has once again made the grade and been Hitlisted by The List.
